“It’s beautiful the Summer month of June
When all of God’s own wildflowers are in bloom
And sun shines brightly most part of the day
And butterflies o’er lush green meadows play.” (Francis Duggan, June)
“Since the return from her stay on the moon,
she listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey.”
(Drops of Jupiter, by Train)
Hello Friends and Family,
We are happy with the success of our Pacific Northwest tour in May. Highlights were: Imagine Coffee with Karl Smiley and their great food; the warm reception from our wonderful host Stone Jones and the enthusiastic crowd at Cabin Tavern, Bellingham; a successful house concert in Portland, OR, at Janet Orjala’s lovely home; the charming room and friendly staff at SoulFood Coffee House. Joel Tepp, a great musician, who has gained his experience playing with Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, and Danny O’Keefe, played harmonica/clarinet/slide guitar with us at Egan’s Ballard Jam House in Seattle. What a great addition to our set!
